Hello I'm Sarah, the proud owner of Alaska Equine Massage and a Certified Equine Massage Therapist. I have over 15 years of experience competing in various horse disciplines like Dressage, Hunt Seat, Equitation, Trail and Jumping. In the fall of 2023 I enrolled in the Equine Massage Therapy program at The Animal Rehab Institute in Loxahatchee Florida. Now certified in Equine Massage, my mission is to enhance the well-being of horses across Alaska by sharing my expertise and passion to help your equine partner feel and perform at their best!
This one hour full body Equine Sports Massage is designed to improve your horse's posture, flexibility, and performance at any level. I can address specific problem areas, aid in recovery from injuries (upon vet approval), and release muscle soreness/ tightness during this full body equine massage. I can also give you select stretches to maintain suppleness in your horse after the massage.
Please try to have the horse in the barn, dry, and cleaned with mud removed from the body and legs for the scheduled appointment time. Ensure you are scheduling a time when horses are not being fed, as it is very hard to get them to focus and relax when they are excited about meals!
This 90 minute full body Equine Sports Massage is designed to improve your horse's posture, flexibility, and performance at any level. I can address specific problem areas, aid in recovery from injuries (upon vet approval), and release muscle soreness/ tightness during this full body equine massage. The extra 30 minutes allows me to go more in depth for the massage and spend more time discussing exercises to maintain suppleness in your horse after the massage.
