Description

Finding the right bodywork practitioner for your horse is an invaluable step in improving their overall health and wellness. In order for massage and bodywork to make a real difference, the practitioner has to be able to cater to the individual horse's needs - not just on a physical level, but on an emotional and spiritual level as well. From the very first session, Noel focuses on working with the entire horse, inside and out. Not only will she design each session to address the horse's particular physical needs, she will also take the time to form a relationship with each horse, gain their trust, and set them up for success in future sessions. Noel specializes in horses with anxiety, sensitivity, and reactivity difficulties; the quirkier the better! She also has a soft spot for the golden oldies, and firmly believes that bodywork can make a massive difference for horses, even if they are retired. Your horse doesn't need to be a fancy athlete to deserve comfort and care. Noel uses techniques backed by science - she does not use any modalities or equipment that do not have significant evidence to show their efficacy, and will not begin offering new services without extensive education and research. But don't take this to mean that her approach is cold and sterile - Noel takes pride in her emotional and spiritual connections with her equine clients, and will always strive for helping improve your horse's psychological health in addition to their physical health. See the difference in your very first session.

Equinology Equine Body Worker (EEBW)

From hoarding Breyer models on my bookshelf to spending every moment at the barn, I've always been a "crazy horse girl". I've been riding for over 20 years and have yet to lose the spark that I felt when I got lifted onto the back of a horse at a carnival pony ride for the first time. As any equestrian will tell you, there is nothing like the bond you share with a horse. They are a constant source of love and inspiration, and I am so honored to be able to dedicate my life to giving them comfort and confidence. As an equine bodyworker, I focus on the whole horse - not just their body, but also their mind and spirit. I specialize in horses that need a little extra love, patience, and understanding, from the retired schoolmaster living out their golden years to the anxious thoroughbred fresh from the track. Every session caters to the horse's individual needs, personalities, and quirks, and no two massages will be alike. Whether your horse is a show-ring superstar or a spoiled pasture pet, every horse deserves to feel their best. Let's begin your horse's wellness journey together.

Massage
Bodywork

90 Mins

Our bodywork process covers the entire horse and caters to their individual needs. We will combine techniques including massage, acupressure, stretching, and myofascial release. When your session is complete, you will receive a full summary of our findings, as well as recommendations for exercises and massage techniques that you can use in between sessions. You can expect each massage session to last between 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the horse. Regular bodywork sessions are recommended to ensure your horse can feel and perform at their best. As we work together, we will continue to monitor your horse's progress, adjust your goals, and manage their personal bodywork plan. In addition to the standard bodywork session, add-ons are available upon request. For horses regularly receiving bodywork, we have packages available at a discounted rate.
