Hello, I'm Dr. Megan Bolentini. I grew up in the Bay Area, where my love for horses took root. From my first riding lesson, I knew my life would always include these incredible animals. The turning point came when I saw the difference a chiropractic adjustment made for my own horse. Witnessing the clear improvement in comfort and mobility sparked my interest in chiropractic care. Seeing the positive impact of chiropractic treatment on my horse's well-being set me on my career path. Today, as Dr. Megan, I'm committed to enhancing the health and vitality of horses through chiropractic care. It's a practical and rewarding journey that combines my love for horses with meaningful, effective healing practices. I am a graduate of Life Chiropractic College West, and Options for Animals.
Both chiropractic care and tensegirty balancing therapy go hand in hand. Having both at the same time will assist your horse in adapting more quickly and holding their adjustment longer.
This is for horses that are being seen for the first time for either chiropractic care or tensegrity balancing therapy. This includes an evaluation of the horse and checking their movement. Along with an evaluation of saddle and bridle fit.
Infrared therapy relaxes muscles, tendons and ligaments and provides arthritis pain relief naturally.
This therapy is based on a three-pronged approach to treating the horse: We target the brain to help regulate and rebalance the nervous system by harnessing and retraining the brain through neuroplasticity. We target somatosensory integration of the body by utilizing touch and motion to reactivate the connection of body and brain and reduce cortical smudging. Lastly we facilitate fascial remodeling to create a more balanced whole body tensegrity. ~Tami Elkayam
