Lauren began riding and working with horses when she was 7 years old. She has served as a barn manager for a 56 horse lesson barn, taught children to ride, worked in behavior modification, and now is an SMS Apprentice Saddler. In her formal education Lauren holds a terminal degree in animal behavior, and is continuing her certifications as a Society of Master Saddlers Apprentice. Lauren has been offering leather work and repairs since 2019, and has offered saddle fitting since 2022 when she attended formal training with the Society of Master Saddlers.

Full strip and reflock on a wool flocked saddle. Includes tree and stability evaluation and saddle refit to horse.
Evaluation of the saddle for stability, leather health, integrity, cleaning, oiling, Saddle can be dropped or shipped. Client will be advised of condition and any potential repairs to be made in addition to the evaluation fee.
Rechecking a saddle serviced within the last 6 monthes, includes minor adjustments to wool flocking
Replacing or moving long dressage or monoflap billets. Brown or Black to match the saddle
Saddles that are otherwise in good condition and well maintained can be completely reflocked. The panels will be dropped, all old flocking removed, new flocking added, and saddle panels re-sewn to the saddle. Available only for saddles that are already wool flocked.
Does your saddle squeak? Seat wrinkled? Think it might be unstable or twisted? Send it to us to check. We will do a full evaluation of the tree, the leather, and the potential for repairs on the saddle to help you decide to fix or shop for a different saddle. If you choose to make a repair, then the evaluation fee is waived, if you decide the saddle being evaluated is beyond saving, then the fee applies.

For the older saddle or those that have not been well maintained but can still be of use with a little TLC. This service involves removing panels, cleaning and conditioning all leather, oiling all hardware and leather, and improving flocking and panel reattachment. The saddle will be returned clearner, softer, and ready to be used.
