Furtastic Friend was established in 2023 by lifelong equestrian Emily Link. Emily grew up riding and showing Hunter/Jumper in Virginia, and attended the former Saint Andrews Presbyterian College to further pursue her equine career. Emily rode trained professionally, teaching at several farms in the greater Charlotte area, before taking a step back to start a family. It was during this time that she attended the American & European Massage Clinic and obtained her diploma for Massage and also passed her NCBTMB exam in 2013. She has continued to expanded her massage knowledge and incorporate it with her passion for horses, completing certification in Equissage and Magnawave. Emily has started the certification process for Equinology which upon completion will allow her to sit for the National Board Certification for Animal Acupressure & Massage exam. We take education seriously and are constantly striving to keep up with new information to help keep you animals in top performance shape!
