Heather is fantastic! She took great care of my older horse, gave suggestions on how to help with some of his muscle atrophy, and sent a complete detailed report of her findings. I would recommend her to anyone in the equine world who is looking to get body work done on their horses!

Heather Burns

Equine Sports Massage Therapist

Hi! Nice to meet you! I am Heather Burns and I own Positive Posture Equine. This business or my idea of this business started while I was in school earning my degree in equine production and training and Equine business management under Wade black (grandson of Ray Hunt, son of Martin Black). After really learning about training and behavior I was super interested in the why and how of the horse which brought me to looking at non medicated healing for horses. I am now a certified equine massage therapist through Midwest Natural healing for Animals and also earned a certificate in equine nutrition from Minnisota State (never stop learning!). That being said I will be adding red light, PEMF, advanced masssage, thermography, and hydro therapy to this business in the future, all for the horse. I am not one to be in the business to make money or make a name for myself, I am here for the horse, an in between person that can read the horse and let their owner know what is going on. We all spend that little extra time and money on our selves to feel better, so why don't we do that for our equine partners as well. Below are my best friends I have 3 horses, Rusty, Sassy, and blu and 3 of the cutest pups Rosie, Millie, and Ozzie.
