Description

Through an osteopathic lens, OSTEO'D Integrated Manual Therapy provides thoughtful care for horses and dogs. Using a whole-body approach, each assessment and treatment is tailored to the individual animal, with the goals of improving comfort, mobility, function, and overall well-being. Just as importantly, owners leave with a clear understanding of what was found, why it matters, and practical ways to support their animal between appointments. Every treatment concludes with the application of kinesiology tape when appropriate to provide continued support beyond the session.

With a background in Animal Biology, Equine Massage Therapy, and Animal Osteopathy, I am passionate about helping horses and dogs move comfortably and confidently. My approach combines careful observation, thoughtful hands-on assessment, and owner education to understand the whole animal and not just their symptoms. Every appointment is an opportunity to support your animal's well-being while giving you practical knowledge to help them thrive even after the treatment is over.

Initial Assessment
OSTEO'D Insights

45 Mins

Book an OSTEO'D Insights appointment if your horse or dog has never been assessed by Erin, or if it has been greater than 6 months since your last session with this horse or dog. This is our first proper look beneath the surface. OSTEO'D Insights is a comprehensive, nose-to-tail, or head-to-hoof assessment where we explore your animal's history, posture, movement patterns, and the subtle compensations our animals may not be readily telling us about but are absolutely feeling. Through careful observation and hands-on osteopathic treatment, we uncover what's really driving discomfort, restriction, or performance changes. You'll leave with clarity, understanding, and a thoughtful plan forward. Every session is thoughtfully wrapped up with the application of kinesiology tape, individually placed, to provide ongoing support long after you've left the treatment space so that care doesn't have to stop when the session does. For your dog. For your horse.

It is ideal to work in an area out of the summer sun or winter wind where your horse can relax. It is also helpful to have an area where we can observe your horse moving in hand or turned loose at the walk and possibly trot.
